Hey peeps! Steve here with another installment of “words that accompany the comic”.

Before I go on, I’d like to draw your attention to the cannoli in panel 3. For some reason, that’s my very favorite part of the art for this strip. Yes, that’s a cannoli. As we all know “business” + “cannolis” is the SI symbol for “organized crime”.

I should probably avoid explaining the strip.

So, SOPA. Yeah, probably not all that necessary. I mean, I get it, digital piracy tends to cost people money that they would rather have gotten. Can we not break the Internet in the process of trying to tweak the methods available? Seems like a laudable thing to strive for.

On a slightly different note, I fully expect numerous articles to soon appear, all of which will tell us, at length, how productivity increased greatly due to the SOPA blackouts. They might not be far off, though. I personally envisioned a day where people not at work were all frolicking outside, similar to the scene on that old Simpsons episode.

People at work, however, were most likely all sitting around reenacting episodes of “Mad Men”.

Since my workplace is basically the real-life version of Section 9, we basically all sat around playing tiddlywinks.
